What type of video cameras do you use, and how do they compare to other cameras on the market? 
We use both high definition and fully digital 3 chip Sony camcorders.  These cameras, unlike many others, produce great video in low light situations. 

What type of editing software do you use, and can we be part of the editing process?
We use Final Cut Pro HD editing software running on a Quad Processor G5 editing stations.  You are welcome to participate in the editing process and also to review your completed wedding DVD in our in-house movie theatre.

What type of lighting do you use?
We have 20W on camera lights with battery pack lasting over eight hours. We will only use our lights during reception in dark ballrooms.

Do you have microphones available for our vows?
We use high quality Sennheiser wireless microphone kit, with a black lavalier microphone that is virtually invisible on groom’s tuxedo.

Do you use tripods, and do you think they are important?
Yes, Although many videographers can get great "shots" by using "handheld techniques" these shots are best used for quick cuts used in cinematic editing. For documentary editing, tripods are essential for smooth pans, tilts and zooms.

What format is our video on?
We use high quality Sony Digital Tapes for lossless capture.  The final version is transfered to DVD or VHS.

Does it matter what type of DVD player we need to view our wedding video?
Yes is does.  We create our DVDs in DVD-R format, so your DVD player must play DVD-R format. All DVD players on the market today, will play DVD-Rs without any problems.

How long after our wedding can we purchase another DVD copy of our wedding?
It takes about four to eight weeks to complete your wedding video.  We will make the copies for you at that time and we will keep one master copy on file for additional reorders.

Can we view our wedding video before we recieve our copies?
Yes, we encourage our wedding clients to preview their wedding at our in-house theatre.

Can you put a short version of our wedding on-line?
Yes, and we have several options to choose from.
